Succession Families Forum
Succession planning is one of the most important — and often most difficult — conversations farming families face. The Succession Alliance: Succession Families Forum is a new 6-month programme designed to help families navigate these challenges together.
We begin with a choice of two in-person, full-day workshops:
- Lanarkshire – 2 October
- Warwickshire – 4 October
Each family attends one of these launch events, giving them space to step back from the farm, explore the basics of succession planning, talk directly with experts, and discover they are not alone in facing these challenges.
Following the workshop, all participating families come together for a series of monthly online sessions, each designed to build on the foundations from the launch and support families as they work towards a clear, practical succession plan.

The full programme is offered at a discounted rate of £500 per family, payable in advance. This covers:
- One full-day, in-person workshop (Lanarkshire or Warwickshire).
- 5 monthly online workshops (2 hours each), led by the course facilitation team, plus industry guest speakers.
- Expert guidance from Matt Swain, Heather Wildman, Andy Guy and Michael Mack.
- Tailored support, peer discussion, and practical exercises.
- nabling you to creat a completed, customised succession plan for your family by the end of the programme.
