When difficult conversations unlock growth
This is a really strong example of something we see time and time again: farm businesses rarely get stuck because of lack of opportunity. They get stuck because the conversations needed to move forward are difficult.
In this case, a next-generation farmer had the ambition and capability to grow, but the structure of the business couldn’t support that without change. It took some honest, and likely uncomfortable, family discussions to unlock a new direction.
The result? A business able to expand and move forward with clarity.
It’s a good reminder that growth often sits on the other side of conversations many families avoid.
